Access to Personal Data

Under the terms of the Data Protection Act 2018, all individuals, including staff, customers and other users of the sites operated within, or accessible from the United Kingdom and the European Union, have the right to access personal data relating to themselves that is held by Metalcore Distribution, Gravity Group and Onecall Distribution (the Company).   2. You are not required to state why you wish to access the information: the details we require are merely those that will aid the efficient location and retrieval of information.
  3. Once the Data Protection Officer receives a Subject Access Request, all efforts will be made to fully comply within 28 days. In any event, you will receive all the information that has been located and can be released within 28 days and an explanation for any information that cannot be provided at that time.
  4. In accordance with the DPA, our Company does not usually release information held about individuals without their consent. If information held about you also contains information related to a third party, the Company will make every effort to suitably anonymise or redact the information. If this is not possible and the Company is unable to secure the relevant consent, the Company may choose not to release the information.

2.2 Information for which we are not responsible
We are not responsible for the treatment of the payment information you provide during checkout processes as these do not occur on our website.  We do not store credit card, bank debit or Paypal identifiers on our site at any time.
We are not responsible for the treatment of the shipping information you provide directly to the shipping service after the checkout is complete and the order is stored.  This may include change to address, instructions for delivery or information relating to notification of delivery.

We keep the Master Data and other personal information that you provide, including your product reviews and order history, during the time that you keep an Account or as necessary to provide our services. If you decide to delete your Account, or request that we delete some part of the information we hold, we will delete this information and we will only keep those data that we are legally obliged to keep (for tax or other purposes). 

5 Security measures

We use reasonable measures at the organizational, technical and administrative level to protect your personal information within our organization.  We may carry out regular audits of our system in search of vulnerabilities. However, since the Internet is not a completely secure environment, we can not ensure or guarantee the absolute security of the information you transmit to us. The emails sent through the Website are not be encrypted, so we advise you not to include any confidential information in the emails you send us.
